We promote the music and the composers that we publish through various performance and recording projects.
Licensing our composers' music is easy. ISG Publications (ISG Music) requires Mechanical License granting, at very reasonable rates, based on the length of the composition, the number of CDs you plan to produce, and the number of downloads you will offer.
First, you need to tell us which piece you will record. If you are going to arrange one of our composers, you must get permission FROM US BEFORE you begin arranging. There can be substantial fines if you arrange before receiving permission. From the copyright holder (us) is where to seek permission to arrange or record, not from the composer. The composer is protected by the copyright holder, and we provide royalties to the composer on every publication, audio (broadcast, CD, download, etc) and tangible (print).
Begin by contacting us (click Contact Us tab above). We issue a Mechanical License Contract which is good for a specific time period, the amount of media produced, and for a specific dollar amount. If you follow the Copyright Law, you will be charged a reasonible fee, and it is often negotiable. If we find you have produced a recording of one of our composers, the penalty will be much greater than the fee you could have paid - so, beware. Please follow the law, which gives respect and some income to the composer of the music you enjoy playing.

We love to review new music! If your piece is interesting to cellists or bassists, is lyrical and challenging (keeps you thinking!), then send it in! Please see our Blog Pages about submitting a composition for consideration.
After you have made an initial inquiry, we are happy to review your music for publication. If it meets our criteria, we will present a sample contract to you. If you like it, we'll delve into specifics. Please see our Blog pages on submitting your composition.
We offer Quantity Discounts to anyone, automatically. A 40% title discount is available to any order that is not already discounted by coupon and that meets these criteria: 2 minimum per title, $80 total merchandise before discount, no discount on tax or shipping, discount refunded via your payment method. For retailers we have two tiers: After establishing an account, S/H is discounted also. If no account established, no discount on S/H. Shipping: Based in Bellingham, WA, USA, we ship from Bellingham, WA, USA (98229). We use United States Postal Service (USPS) for most items ("Economy" is by Media Mail and can take 30 days, USA only. "Air Service" is usually by Priority Mail and can take up to 14 days but usually is around 5 day USA only). If the package is heavy, we ship by UPS and sometimes FEDEX. For International shipments, we primarily will use USPS, First Class Mail International, but in some cases UPS or FEDEX is available (you will pay extra shipping fee). Every shipped order, whether it be a wholesale or retail, will have a Handling Charge of $4.50 to $5. Then, at check-out, a Shipping Charge is added by our cart administrator (right now that is PayPal) based on the dollar amount, weight, and the shipping address. To Europe and most International (even Canada!), the shipping charge is often a minimum of $28. We have no control over the cost of shipping, tariffs, landing fees, or the shipping policies of other countries. Unfortunately, at this time we cannot ship to Russia, Ukraine, the Middle East, Africa, Asia (except: okay to Taiwan, Japan, S Korea, Thailand, Singapore, Philipines), some in Central and South America. All shipping charges that you have paid, over the actual amount that we paid to the shipper for your order, may be reimbursed to you via your PayPal account as a refund. (Wholesale customers receive a discount refund on merchandise and shipping depending on their vendor status with us). Please allow at least two weeks for this refund to show up on your account statement. We do not bill you for shipping charges that are more than what you paid. In special circumstances and coupon promotions, both shipping and merchandise may be discounted. The Handling Charge per cart is never discounted unless only PDF(s) are ordered. Electronic delivery via email of PDFs have a small handling charge of $1 with no shipping or cart handling charges. Due to a glitch in PayPal's handling charge script, a handling charge may show up in your cart if you have placed a non-PDF item in the cart. To remove the cart handling fee ($4.50 - $5.00), just delete all items in the PayPal cart and re-install the PDF into your cart. This is the only way to update your cart to delete the handling charge. In most cases, when only a PDF is ordered, any handling charge paid will be refunded (except for $1.00). Refunds: If you do not receive your package, after the prescribed shipping time, and you were available and able to receive your package but did not, a refund or a replacement for the merchandise can be requested. We do not refund shipping charges that we have paid to a shipper. Refunds on merchandise are done via your payment method. Please allow three to six weeks to receive the refund.
